Session Description, Can We Ever Learn to Trust AI
Dr. Rebekka Reinhard’s career focuses on the human side of the AI equation. In this session she examines what we mean when we say we “trust” something, starting with “What is trust, and why is it the gold standard of the AI era?” When working with AI, which typical cognitive biases, distortions, and ideological dogmas block our path to trust and to trustworthy AI?
Dr. Reinhard considers whether life experience, intuition, and curiosity play a role when developing trust, not just for leaders but for you, in your everyday life.
Can we ever learn to trust AI? You’ll leave this session with ideas on how to evaluate your systems of trust and whether they can be applied to the development of AI solutions.
